About Department

The Department of Chemistry is established in June 1994 with well equipped laboratories and instruments. The Department has its own glorious tradition by with all grace and reputation contributed by the younger generation of teachers who give emphasis on promoting the research activities in collaboration with different institutions. The department has four well equipped laboratories and university recognized research laboratory for M. Phil & Ph.D. Initially the department was started with only 60 students; now department has 363 for UG and 44 students for PG course. The department has started post graduation course from the academic year 2016-17. The chemistry department also conducts COC foundry course and skill oriented course preparation of house hold chemicals. All the faculties in the department are well experienced and highly qualified.

3. Department conducts one COC and One Self financing course.
4. Department conducts student teacher research cell.
5. 30% of B.Sc. - III Students got admission for M.Sc.
6. Removal of Blind belief and Mobile Laboratory for rural children as extension activities.
7. Consultancy in Soil & Water testing, provide analysis of Tanks and Bore-wells water for local farmer and people.
8. National and International Research papers in reputed journals.
9. Students enthusiastically participate in research program like poster and Paper presentations
